Valentine’s may not be around the corner, but I am swooning over this pink and red combination!
We have seen all the greats (Valentino, Gucci, and Céline) send this look down their runways last season. It is safe to say that this style is here to stay. Whether you want to go bold or use undertones for this combination, you will most definitely turn heads.
My favorite way to wear it is in a suit. I recently wore this ensemble to a panel and let’s just say I go a lot of questions on this ootd! Here are three tips I followed to master the trend:
- Wear neutral accessories: I decided to go for a clear and sexy pump to elongate my legs and my blush toned Deux Lux handbag to keep the focus on the blazer and pants.
- Play with shapes: Since I was already going bold, I decided to add some texture with these River Island Ruffled pants. The mid calf hem was perfect to keep me looking tall instead of stocky. If you are going to use a long pant, make sure to stick to a straight cut.
- Own it: The key to mastering any over the top look is to own it! Do not be shy and walk that walk.
